Legal-cloud-tech firm wins workplace award

Cloud-based legal-technology provider Clio has been honoured at the 20th annual Great Place to Work Awards.

The award comes as the firm continues to expand its workforce both in Ireland and globally.

Currently, the company employs over 800 across Ireland, Canada, and the US, with that figure expected to grow to 1,000 this year.

New jobs in Ireland will include customer support, engineering, marketing, and sales roles.

General manager Colin Bohanna said that the firm wanted to create an environment where people could thrive, while fulfilling the mission to transform the legal experience for everyone.

Flexibility

This is Clio’s first year to be named as a top Irish workplace. Employees provided anonymous feedback, and the company scored highly in the wellbeing, recognition, diversity and inclusion, and management and leadership categories, as well as excelling on workplace flexibility.

Cathal Divilly (Great Place to Work Ireland) pointed out that the pandemic had shown that organisations that had previously invested in their culture and people overcame virus challenges with flying colours.
