A team from the Humboldt University of Berlin won the third Dublin Vis Pre-Moot, which was held at the Dublin Dispute Resolution Centre last weekend (12 and 13 March).
The event took place in a hybrid format, with more than 20 teams competing virtually, and five teams taking part in Dublin.
The Humboldt team beat Istanbul Bilgi University in the final after four general rounds. Two more teams – Brooklyn Law School and NOVA (small picture) – will advance to the semi-final stage.
Nilay Caner of the Istanbul Bilgi team was the Best Oralist of the general rounds, with Vira Verbishchuk of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv runner-up.
The Arbitral Tribunal comprised Sherlin Tung, Niamh Leinwather, and Dr Navin Ahuja, MCIArb FAIADR.
The event was held in association with the Dublin Dispute Resolution Centre, the Bar of Ireland, and Arbitration Ireland.
