Law Society AGM to take place on 4 November

This year’s annual general meeting (AGM) of the Law Society will take place on Thursday, 4 November, at 6.30pm.

The AGM will be a hybrid event, in order to accommodate in-person and online attendance. All Law Society members are invited to attend the meeting.

The venue, for those attending in person, is the Lecture Hall in the Education Centre at Blackhall Place in Dublin.

The AGM will consider the annual report for the year 2020/2021, and provide a report on the audited financial statements for the year ending 31 December 2020.

Registration for online attendance

Kieran Pender, lawyer and author of the International Bar Association’s Us Too? report on bullying and sexual harassment in the legal profession, will present ‘Bullying, Harassment and Sexual Harassment Awareness Training’ at the AGM.

Members who attend can claim one hour of CPD, Management and Professional Development Skills (by eLearning) for this presentation.

The AGM will also hear the report of the scrutineers on the annual and provincial elections, and announce the final declaration of election results.

Advance registration for online attendance is essential. No registration is required for in-person attendance.
