Legal watchdog extends submissions deadline

The body which regulates the legal profession has extended the deadline for submissions ahead of its report into unifying the solicitors’ profession and the barristers’ profession.

The Legal Services Regulatory Authority (LSRA) is preparing a report for the Minister for Justice and Equality on the issue.

Practitioners

It is inviting submissions from members of the legal professions, academics, practitioners, experts, consumers of legal services, members of the public and any other interested parties.

The new deadline in Tuesday 9 June and submissions can be emailed to publicconsultations@lsra.ie.
