A seminar on child abduction is being organised by GEMME, the European Association of Judges, later this month.
The Irish branch of the organisation will host the discussion on the topic of ‘The role of mediation in family law and child abduction litigation and emerging developments in some aspects of child protection disputes’.

The seminar is organised by the Irish branch of Groupement Européen des Magistrats pour la Mediation (GEMME), the European association for judges interested in mediation.
The event is open to legal practitioners from the Bar of Ireland (who are providing the venue) and to all mediators and academics who support mediation and seek to strengthen and improve its practice.
