Gaeilgeoir joins JWOD defence litigation team

Leading Cork firm JW O’Donovan Solicitors has appointed Ciara Lehane to its litigation team which is a sign of increased activity in defence litigation for corporate clients.

Ciara Lehane makes the move south after three years in defence litigation with a leading Dublin firm.

Motor liability

She has worked in defence litigation for insurance companies in motor liability, employers’ liability, public liability and defamation actions.

Ciara Lehane is a fluent Irish speaker and is enrolled on Clár na Gaeilge (a register of fluent Irish speaking solicitors maintained by the Law Society of Ireland).

She said: “I’m delighted to join JWOD, at a time when business in Cork city and the surrounding region is thriving.
