The Society of Young Solicitors has chosen the environment as the theme for their annual conference this year.
“Sustainability and the Environment from a Solicitor’s Perspective” is the topic for October’s conference at the Strand Hotel in Limerick from 11-13 October.
Tickets go on sale from 3 September with pre-sale tickets available from 29 August.
As with previous years, tickets will be sold on a per-room basis. Demand has been high in previous years so book early if you hope to attend, the committee advise.
Tickets will be priced at €210 (plus booking fee) and are sold on a room basis (twin, double or triple).
Each ticket will cover two nights B&B, the conference (garnering CPD points) and a ticket to the black-tie gala ball on the Saturday.
Further details will be available on www.sys.ie, on Twitter (@SYSIreland), on Instagram (@societyofyoungsolicitors) and on Facebook (SYS – Society of Young Solicitors Ireland).
The conference is sponsored by Brightwater Recruitment.
SYS was founded in 1965, with the aim of organising conferences and other events for the education of younger members of the legal profession in Ireland as well as the development of links with international bar associations for younger solicitors.
The SYS is a voluntary organisation run by a committee of young solicitors from varying practice backgrounds.
