Mr Justice Michael Peart to retire from Court of Appeal

Mr Justice Michael Peart, the first solicitor appointed to the High Court, is to retire this October.

He has served on the Court of Appeal since October 2014, subsequent to his appointment to the High Court where he served from 2002.

Mr Justice Peart was admitted by the Law Society as a solicitor  in 1970. He is also a bencher of the King’s Inns.

Judge Peart's last day of service will be 25 October 2019.
