Volume 18 of the Hibernian Law Journal will be launched next week at the Law Society.
Mr Justice Michael Twomey (pictured) of the High Court will chair proceedings on Tuesday 23 July in the Blue Room of the Law Society, at 6.30pm.
Volume 18 considers important legal issues, such as the duty to disclose genetic information, the future of the Common Travel Area, 'Do Not Attempt Resuscitation' orders, the doctrine of equivalents in patent law, and the Supreme Court's recent decision in SPV Osus v HSBC, in addition to several book reviews.
The journal will also publish the exclusive reflections of Ms Justice Catherine McGuinness and Professor Mary McAleese, together with commentaries on fundamental rights on the island of Ireland, post-Brexit, by Attorney General Séamus Woulfe SC, Eilis Barry BL, and Professor Conor Gearty.
