Mason Hayes & Curran has appointed Alice Murphy as a partner in the firm’s corporate charities team.
Alice works with charities, healthcare providers and education bodies, advising on all their legal and governance requirements. She helps organisations navigate legal and regulatory frameworks, so that they can focus on their mission and their services to beneficiaries.
She also guides organisations through complex governance issues and works with boards of directors to achieve best practice in a charity specific context.
Edward Gleeson, partner and head of charities and not-for-profit, said “Charities and not-for-profits face unique regulatory and governance challenges. Alice’s extensive experience gives her a deep appreciation of the vision of our clients, and allows her to deliver pragmatic solutions to the challenges they face.”
Head of corporate David O’Donnell added “Corporate governance has become an increasingly complex area for charities and for the not-for-profit sector.”
