William Fry names four new partners

William Fry has named four new partners across its corporate, M&A, tax and real estate departments.

Carol Eager (pictured) is a new M&A and corporate partner, advising investment houses and venture capital organisations. She focuses on M&As, corporate restructurings, private equity and venture capital investments, and corporate governance.

International clients

Rachel Fox and Declan Lavelle are new tax partners. Rachel is a solicitor and chartered tax advisor.

She has extensive experience in advising clients on M&As, capital-market transactions and corporate reorganisations, and advises international clients establishing in Ireland.

Declan specialises in corporate and international tax matters

New real estate partner Conor Treacy has clients, including international retailers, private equity firms, institutional investors and State bodies.

Lateral hires

The appointments follow recent key lateral hires – Lyn Brennan (to banking and finance in February) and Ian Devlin (as head of pensions last November).

The firm now employs almost 500 legal and tax professionals at offices in Dublin, London, New York, San Francisco and Silicon Valley.

Managing partner Bryan Bourke says that the firm is continuing to grow in these key practice areas.
