Barristers to debate Dwyer judgment implications
The Irish Centre for European Law has lined up some heavy-hitting speakers for a conference this week at Dublin’s Royal Irish Academy.
The role of the European Union in the area of criminal law has expanded significantly in recent times.
European Arrest Warrant jurisprudence
The conference will address such topics as:
- The continued development of jurisprudence on the European Arrest Warrant,
- The establishment of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO),
- The potential impact of the recent decision of O’Connor J in Dwyer v Commissioner of an Garda Síochána [2018] IEHC 685.
