Prestigious award for Diploma Centre

The Law Society Diploma Centre has scooped the prestigious Postgraduate Course of the Year in Law at this year’s GradIreland awards.

The Law Society of Ireland diploma in aviation leasing and finance law was honoured by the judges for its good industry recognition, as well as excellent resources and links with industry.

Symposium

The awards ceremony was held in tandem with a symposium on the future of higher education, exploring:

  • Current international best practice,
  • Irish and international research findings, and
  • Expert discussions.

The event at the Crowne Plaza Northwood Hotel in Santry, Dublin, last Friday was sponsored by the Higher Education Authority, AbbVie and PwC, and attended by over 200 higher education professionals and stakeholders.

Head of the Diploma Centre Dr Freda Grealy said today: “It's wonderful to win this award that recognises the quality and high standard of continuing professional development offered by the Law Society team at the Diploma Centre.

“We thank our talented faculty, solicitors and experts from the aviation industry who give generously of their time.  Also, we thank our students for their dedication and drive to increase their knowledge and skills.”
