Raising the bar on how to dress to impress

‘Lawful Attire’ is the theme of the next Irish Women Lawyers’ Association event in two weeks’ time.

NCAD lecturer in visual culture Hilary O’Kelly will speak on the history of clothing and the impact of lawyers’ attire in the legal profession through the ages.

Barrister tabs

Jodie McArdle who designs and makes barrister tabs will also be there with some of her products on display and for sale.

The talk starts at 6.30 pm on Thursday 29 November in the Gaffney Room of the Bar Council Distillery Building, Church Street, Dublin 7.

The event is free for IWLA members with a €10 charge for non-members.
