DCU law professor inks deal

DCU’s Professor of European Law Federico Fabbrini has forged a sponsorship alliance with Grant Thornton that will support the university’s Brexit Institute for the next three years.

Professor Fabbrini said that partnering with one of the world’s largest professional services networks illustrates the growing role of the Brexit Institute.

Welcoming the announcement President DCU Professor Brian MacCraith said that he was delighted with the move since Ireland is unquestionably at a critical time in relation to Brexit.

“Political decisions made in the coming weeks and months will determine how Ireland, Northern Ireland, Britain and the EU function – both independently and with each other – on a number of fundamental levels for this and future generations,” he said.
