Practitioner portal will speed up claims – PIAB
The Personal Injuries Assessment Board (PIAB) says that its new solicitor portal is a secure web-based platform where authorised users can gain access to information on their clients’ claims, and can also correspond with the PIAB.
The portal is designed to make life easier for practitioners when it comes to corresponding with the PIAB and getting up-do-date information on claims made by solicitors’ clients.
According to the board, there are several benefits for solicitors who sign up for the new service. By signing up for the portal, solicitors can gain access to real-time information in relation to clients’ claims, and can monitor the progress of those claims.
Status of claims
Solicitors can quickly get information on the up-to-date status of claims and get that information speedily to their clients.
