Diary date – FLAC lecture honours late Dave Ellis

The FLAC twelfth annual Dave Ellis memorial lecture will be delivered by Marc Rotenberg, president of the Washington-based Electronic Privacy Information Centre.

The lecture will be held at the Pillar Room at the Rotunda in Dublin 1 on Thursday 13 December at six pm.

Registration will be from 5.30 and a reception will follow the lecture.

Attendance is free but registration is required by emailing Caroline Smith on events@FLAC.IE or by calling 01 887 3600.

Activist

The late Davie Ellis (pictured above) was a community activist who was a law officer at Coolock Community Law Centre in Dublin.

Marc Rotenberg (small picture) teaches at Georgetown Law with a focus on privacy and civil liberties issues.
