We work to support wellbeing for trainee solicitors, and the wider profession.
Law School Psychological Services was established in January 2014. What began as a small counselling service has expanded rapidly in response to a growing appetite for a range of psychologically informed programmes and services.
We are based in a tranquil and discrete space at the rear of the Green Hall, beside the Society’s playing field.
Who we work with
Our primary work is with trainee solicitors attending the Professional Practice Course. We also collaborate with Law Society Professional Training to offer a suite of CPD Programmes to qualified solicitors.
- Training and development of Law School tutors and lecturers in partnership with the PPC Course management team.
We are always evolving and future collaborations are planned to input into the design and delivery of mental health and wellbeing supports for members in partnership with the Society’s Mental Health & Wellbeing Steering Group.
