About the course

Ireland has a booming tech market and has become the digital hub for Europe. It is of vital importance that all organisations understand the law relating to technology and that all legal advisers have the requisite knowledge to advise on these matters.

In this certificate, offered free to PPC1 trainees, we will chart the latest trends in technology and will provide a wide-ranging analysis of issues relating to technology law, advising on data protection strategies, and managing transactional issues.

This course is available completely online and can be watched live or via the playback function at a time that suits you. Trainees may join and complete this certificate course at any time before 14 December.

  • Start Date: Friday 9 October
  • Delivery method: online lectures released weekly on Fridays, with an online workshop on the last day of the course. All lectures are available to view on playback.
  • Fee: Free to all current PPC1 trainees
  • Assessment: There will be multiple choice tests at the end of each module covering course content.
