The Law Society understands the value of building a community that offers support throughout the many challenges and opportunities of professional life.

Solicitors supporting each other

The Balint Peer Support Programme  is a collaboration with Law Society Skillnet with the support of Skillnet Ireland funding. The programme is currently being piloted, online, by a group of up to a dozen  solicitors with the support of Programme Ambassador (and Law Firm Principal), Sonia Mc Entee.

Colleague Support

Consult a Colleague Helpline - free and completely confidential helpline, co-ordinated by the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association, to assist the profession nationwide with any problem, whether professional or personal. Call 01 284 8484 or visit www.dsba.ie

“Ask an Expert” Column

Would you like to access expert views on topical areas relating to aspects of mental health and wellbeing at work or in your personal life?  Our ‘Ask an Expert’ column features anonymised problems/questions/issues monthly in the Gazette magazine, answered by a suitably qualified expert e.g. an Executive Coach, psychotherapist, psychologist.
