Remote working submission
The Law Society has made a submission on the introduction of a Right to Request Remote Working.
Practical steps to enabling remote work
In response to a public consultation by the Department of Enterprise Trade and Employment, the Society offers an informed view on:
- the timeframe for an employer to respond to a request,
- the length of service an employee should have accrued before being entitled to request remote work,
- risk assessments of home working arrangements,
- grounds for refusing a request,
- and more
