  • The Legal Services Regulatory Authority (LSRA) has invited submissions on proposals for reform of the education and training of legal practitioners.   • The Diploma Centre is seeking experienced and enthusiastic colleagues to collaborate on a new Certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). If you have feedback and suggestions based on your organisation’s CSR work, or an interest in lecturing on the course, the Centre wants to hear from you. Training

The Diploma Centre and Law Society Professional Training provide training for in-house solicitors in the private and public sectors.

  • The Diploma Centre will offer a Certificate in Strategic Leadership for the In-House Lawyer in January 2020. Designed for in-house counsel in both commercial and public sector organisations, this course will cover development of the in-house function, collaboration, and communication of the value of in-house legal services within an organisation.   • The Annual In-House & Public Sector Conference will take place on 11 October 2019. Presented by the In-house and Public Sector Committee in collaboration with Law Society Finuas Skillnet, the conference will include a select group of eminent speakers and industry experts discussing the influence of technology on in-house solicitors.
