Training opportunities

The Law Society Diploma Centre and Law Society Professional Training provide training tailored to the needs of in-house practitioners.

  • The Annual In-House and Public Sector Conference will take place on 9 November 2017. A select group of eminent speakers and industry experts will speak about the role of in-house counsel in managing risk, building trust and leading. The GDPR will also be discussed from the perspective of the in-house sector. Book the In House and Public Sector Conference
  • The Diploma Centre, in association with the Northumbria Law School, will offer an innovative new LLM Employment Law in Practice course this September. The course is specifically designed for those who have completed the Diploma in Employment Law, providing an opportunity to achieve a further recognised academic qualification.   • Booking is also still open for a Cork event, The In-house Solicitor - Setting Up a Legal Function and Key Responsibilities, on 21 September 2017. Pre-lunch interactive workshop sessions will focus on the role and responsibilities of the in-house solicitor and the practicalities of setting up the in-house function, with an afternoon session covering compliance and commercial contracts.
