News

Several recent news items relevant for in-house solicitors are listed below.

  • Voting has opened for elections to the 2018/19 Council. Please ensure that you return your ballot paper by 1 November. View a list of candidates and canvassing details

  • The European Company Lawyers Association (ECLA) held its first ever general counsel roundtable, discussing antitrust and competition law on a European level, a practitioner’s view on competition damage claims and the impact of Brexit on competition law.   • The European Commission is proposing to further strengthen the supervision of EU financial institutions to address money-laundering and terrorist financing threats. Training

  • The Annual In House and Public Sector Conference 2018 will take place on 8 November. Presented by the In-house and Public Sector Committee in collaboration with Law Society Finuas Skillnet Network, this conference will focus on change and upheaval in the role of in-house counsel.
