Practitioners are asked to note that the Courts Service will no longer be able to accept cheques with papers lodged in the Central Office with effect from 22 October 2021.

Central office lodging papers

The practice of accepting cheques by post was facilitated at the start of the pandemic, but the Courts Service will no longer be in a position to continue to accept cheques by post with papers lodged in the Central Office.

Practitioners are advised to use their own in-house stamping machines, where available, or have their documents stamped in the stamp office in advance of lodgement.
