The Law Society of Ireland has unveiled a new daily legal news service.

A unique daily news service

Gazette.ie will deliver the most important legal stories via morning news updates, a breaking news service throughout the day and, for subscribers, long-read articles from 1 January 2019. The award-winning journalism team behind Gazette.ie will also produce video news clips featuring interviews with legislators, legal experts, practitioners and conference keynote speakers.

Proud of tradition, prepared for the future

“The Gazette magazine is a historic pillar of the Law Society of Ireland. With 1,115 published editions to date, it has been a treasured source of quality legal news, views, analysis and information since 1907,” said Director General of the Law Society of Ireland Ken Murphy. “With the launch of Gazette.ie we are building on that rich history for the digital era, while retaining all the essential elements of the traditional, multi-award-winning Gazette magazine.”

You can see some highlights from over a hundred years of publication in the short video below.

News Over Audio

Readers can also enjoy the Gazette's content in audio form through an exclusive partnership with News Over Audio (NOA). “The Gazette joins other illustrious publications such as The Economist, The New York Times, Financial Times, Bloomberg News and The Irish Times in providing this service to readers, in collaboration with our service partner, News Over Audio – the global leader in narrated journalism,” explained Mr Murphy.
