You are invited to the launch of the Calcutta Run – The Legal Fundraiser on Friday 11 March 2016 at 12.30pm, at the offices of Arthur Cox, Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin 2.
The Calcutta Run is the solicitors’ profession’s annual fundraising initiative in aid of the Peter McVerry Trust and GOAL. Over the last 17 years more than €3.1 million has been raised for the charities, and this year we hope to raise €200,000.
Representatives of five of the six largest law firms in Ireland will attend the launch, where Fr. Peter McVerry will be a guest speaker. CEO of GOAL, Barry Andrews, and CEO of the Peter McVerry Trust, Pat Doyle, will outline how the money raised will help homeless young people in Calcutta and Dublin.
