Testimonials from past participants

'I attended the International Legal Excellence programme, organised by the Law Society of Ireland Professional Training since it was first offered in 2015.

The course has met my highest expectations.  I have had the opportunity to interact and learn from qualified professionals and, above all, I believe that for a lawyer, the course is highly interactive and intellectually very stimulating. I have greatly enjoyed the method of teaching and the level of content of the courses.

I also appreciated the organisational structure, the staff, and the material provided. Sincerely, the Law Society takes impeccable care of the professionals who attend these courses and I will be happy and honoured to attend the course next year.'

Avv. Lucia Fabbri, Practising lawyer and barrister in Italy

‘I applied for the International Legal Excellence programme 2017 because I was looking for an opportunity to improve my English and to get in contact with lawyers from other countries.

The program was varied and focused on useful skills like writing, presentation and negotiation. In addition to the highly qualified staff we had the opportunity to work with the Head of Voice of the Trinity College, a psychologist and an experienced negotiator.

The social activities provided plenty of opportunities to get to know the other attendees and, of course, Dublin. A unique experience was the dedication and the enthusiasm of the staff members who spent a lot of their time with us to make sure everybody was involved and content.  Overall it was a delightful experience’.
