The Law school will host a practice exchange as part of the National Forum for Teaching & Learning Seminar Series 2018-19.
Presenters from Hibernia College, the Law Society of Ireland, UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery & Health Systems and Marino Institute of Education will showcase innovative uses of technology that enhance nurse, solicitor and teaching education. Presenters and topics include:
- Jane Moffatt & Eveline Holmes (Law Society of Ireland): Developing critical thinking through online peer assessment
- Dr Alison Egan (Marino Institute of Education): The ABCs of H5P, Moodle and me
- Dr Catherine Redmond & Philip Hardie (UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery & Health Systems): Using a virtual patient to promote competency in skills and clinical reasoning
- Dr Aoife Lynam & John Lenehan (Hibernia College): Using Swivl for innovation in education
The event will also be broadcast on the web via Panopto, so delegates have a choice in how they wish to attend.
