Tutorial Streams

We are not taking stream requests for Dublin this year, so please do not email us requesting a specific start or finish time. For more information, see the Dublin Information Sheet.

Your group allocation and start times will only be available one week before the course commences. We can only assign students to their groups once you have achieved a “registered” status. This is a full-time course scheduled Monday to Friday, between 09.00 and 18.00 each day.

Course Materials

A large number of textbooks will be distributed on the first day of the course - 14th September in Dublin and 21st September in Cork. Please bring a suitable carry bag or case to transport them.

More books will be distributed during the course - you will be notified by text, Moodle, email, and also, in the case of Dublin, on the plasma screen in the Atrium. If you miss a distribution, you will be subject to a €5 late collection fee (per booklet). You will be required to sign for all course materials.

You will not be receiving any course materials in advance of the course. All course reading and study material are included in your fees and you will not be required to purchase any books.

Attendance

Attendance at all lectures/tutorials is mandatory. Students who fail to attend 7 tutorials will be asked to meet Geoffrey Shannon (Dublin) or Katherine Kane (Cork). Trainees who fail to attend 9 tutorials will be asked to meet with TP Kennedy, and at that stage the training solicitors will be notified. Attendance at Skills sessions is compulsory.
