Applications to the Education Committee should include all relevant supporting documentation and a covering letter and should be addressed to: Secretary of the Education Committee, Law School, Law Society of Ireland, Blackhall Place, Dublin 7.
If you are a Trainee
Trainees should submit all applications to the Traineeship Section. The Traineeship section presents applications on behalf of trainees to the Education Committee.
If you are a Barrister
Barristers applying to become a solicitor should send completed applications to bltransfer@lawsociety.ie
If you are a Law Clerk
Completed applications should be sent to Paula Sheedy, Education Officer in the Law School.
Cost
The current cost of making an application to the Education Committee is €75. This is payable by cheque (to Law Society of Ireland) only and must accompany all applications.
