15 Work Placement Programme (WPP) opportunities have just become available in the Department Of Justice Equality and Law Reform.
These are non-paid roles - in which people get an exchequer payment instead - equivalent of what they would get if they were on Job Seekers Benefit. To participate in this scheme, a person must be in receipt of Job Seekers Benefit for at least the last 3 months.
These opportunities will be offered in a wide range of divisions - including civil and criminal law reform, immigration, youth justice etc.
Participants will provide legal advice, prepare legal documents and produce written / oral briefs.
Applicants must be solicitors with good personal / communication skills and you must also qualify to participate in the WPP.
People who are interested, and who qualify, should e-mail their CV to: e.freyne@lawsociety.ie .
