Law Society Skillnet
The Law Society Skillnet is a solicitor-training network promoted by the Law Society of Ireland. Funded by the National Training Fund, The Department of Education and Skills and by member firms. Skillnets Ltd manage the training networks programme on behalf of the Department of Education and Skills. The project aims to develop skills in each member company, skills that will increase commercial competitiveness into the future.
Skillnets – Subsidised Training for Members (2011)
The Law Society of Ireland has obtained grant funding from Skillnets Ltd. This means that we are in a position to offer a 25% discount on all our Law Society Skillnet progammes to those who join the membership scheme in 2011.
The Law Society Skillnet is funded by member companies and the Training Networks Programme, an initiative of Skillnets Ltd. funded from the National Training Fund through the Department of Education and Skills.

Law Society Finuas Network
The Finuas Networks Programme is dedicated to specialised training within the international financial services sector and is jointly funded by the government and companies within the sector. Finuas is envisaged to run for up to 5 years with €1m allocated from the National Training Fund for 2009. Managed by Skillnets Ltd on behalf of the Department of Education and Skills, Finuas aims to support the sector in maintaining Ireland’s position as a top international financial services centre through investment in the specialist skills and expertise of its workforce.
The Law Society Finuas Network is a solicitor-training network promoted by the Law Society of Ireland. The Network aims to develop skills in each member company, skills that will increase the expertise of Irish financial services legal and taxation firms to an international expertise standard and there by enhance the global competitiveness of member firms competing in the arena of international financial services.
