Due to Ireland’s increasing importance as a western hub for Islamic Finance, the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in partnership with the Law Society Finuas Network is once again presenting a blended-learning model of the CIMA Diploma in Islamic Finance for 2013 (CDIF).  The CDIF is now in its third year and has seen over 100 participants successfully complete the programme. Given the government objective to positionIrelandas a European hub for the delivery of wholesale Islamic finance services, this is an important area of growth and opportunity within the Irish Financial Services industry.

The forthcoming CDIF programme will be delivered over the period from 14th February to 13th June 2013.  The programme includes four half-day face-to-face revision seminars held on Thursday mornings in CIMA’s headquarters inHarcourt Road, covering the following modules:

  • Islamic Commercial Law
  • Islamic Banking and Takaful
  • Islamic Capital Markets and Instruments
  • Accounting for Islamic Financial Institutions

Participants will also have access to Shari’ah experts during the programme.
